The Giants’ Table and Cottages offers a unique experience.

There are currently seven self-contained cottages all arranged in a circle, with a restaurant and reception in the middle.

All cottages have kitchens, bathrooms and sitting rooms and we even include complimentary continental breakfast provisions for you in your kitchen.

Our Cottages:

 

Gidleigh has 4 bedrooms. Cosy for 2, it contains three Queen bedded rooms and a twin room but has enough space to sleep a group or family of up to 9 people if required. There is an open plan Kitchen, Dining Room and Sitting Room and a large verandah. It also has two bathrooms, one with a bath and shower above and the other a shower. There is a woodheater in the sitting room as well as electric heating.

                        

Stiniel has 2 bedrooms,it contains a Queen bedded room and a twin room. This cottage has an open-plan kitchen/dining room/sitting room and the bathroom contains a bath with a shower above. The cottage has electric heating. Sleeps up to 4.

                              

Drewsteignton has 5 bedrooms. This cottage can sleep up to 10 people. There are two Queen bedded room and three twin rooms.

The cottage has a separate sitting room as well as a kitchen/dining room and has a bathroom with bath and shower above as well as a shower room. There is a woodheater in the sitting room as well as electric heating throughout.

                     

Hittisleigh - This cottage has just been refurbished and is our star! The cottage has a King bedded room with an en-suite bathroom, containing a separate shower and a single spa bath. There is an additional Queen bedded room, and two twin rooms.

These rooms share an additional bathroom containing a separate shower and a bath. The cottage has an open plan sitting room, dining room, kitchen and a wonderful view. There is electric heating throughout. Sleeps up to 8.

                

Sticklepath is a 2 bedroomed cottage.It contains an open plan kitchen, dining room, sitting room, a Queen bedded room and a twin-bedded room. The bathroom has a bath and shower above. There is electric heating throughout. Sleeps up to 4.

               

Chagford has 1 bedroom and is a perfect honeymoon, or second honeymoon, suite. There is a large kitchen/dining room, a sitting room and one large bedroom with a Queen Bed. The bathroom contains a two-person spa bath with shower above.

There is electric heating throughout. Sleeps up to 2.

      

Chudleigh has 2 bedrooms, one a Queen bedded room and the other has twin beds. There is an open plan kitchen/dining room and sitting room. The bathroom has a two-person spa bath with a shower above. There is electric heating throughout. Sleeps up to 4.

              

For those wishing to hire the entire complex, we can now sleep up to 40 people.

Current Rates:

 Standard Cottages $140 (includes first two people) Drewsteignton, Gidleigh, Stiniel and Sticklepath.

• $50 per extra person and
• $10 per child under 10 years of age

Spa suites $150 for first two people plus $50 per extra person (Chagford and Chudleigh)

Hittisleigh $ 160 for first two people plus $ 50 per extra person

PLEASE NOTE:

• All towels, linen and complimentary continental breakfast provisions are provided.

• Check-in is from 2pm until 6pm and Check-out is before 10am

• We conduct a basic service for our cottages daily .

• There is no mobile phone reception here   - thank goodness!?

 

 

                           

All cottage kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering, or you may choose to dine at the Giants’ Table, our onsite licensed restaurant, which is currently open during the summer only.

If you do decide to self-cater you will need to buy groceries at New Norfolk or Hobart, as there are only small shops with limited goods available in the area.
